Tim, a native Californian, was raised in northern California but has made San Diego, California his home since 1981. He is primarily a digital photographer but still uses his film camera purchased with money earned on his paper route. He attended a small college in Kansas where he was the school photographer. An avid mountain biker, hiker and backpacker, Tim finds his best subjects in the forms and colors of natural surroundings, often seeking remote and hard to access places for his work.
